When Mordehai Avraham completed his studies at Shenkar, he went to Paris for a six-month internship at Lanvin, not before turning down a work proposal from Carolina Herrera. He won praise from international fashion designers for the design of the cocktail collection inspired by the perfume Chic.
Later on, he managed the design line of the Calvin Klein brand of undergarments at Delta, and more.
At present, Mordehai Avraham has an independent studio in Tel Aviv, where he presents stunning collections of wedding dresses and evening gowns. His greatest loves are lacework, and the vintage and couture worlds. This trio he intertwines masterfully in each and every dress.
Mordehai's dresses are made of real vintage fabrics and cloths that he collects, takes apart and reassembles. Each and every dress is a whole world, with stories and a history composed of the old dresses he takes apart, corsets, cloths, beads and textiles he puts back to life.
The studio offers a unique meeting between vintage and modern, old and new. Here you will find a friendly atmosphere, and a unique personal attitude- a one-of-a-kind experience.
